Captur\u00e9es \u00e0 une distance d\u2019environ 74 millions de kilom\u00e8tres, ces images haute r\u00e9solution montrent des caract\u00e9ristiques fascinantes, telles que des granules, des cellules turbulentes de plasma issues de la convection solaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les instruments de Solar Orbiter, notamment le Polarimetric and Helioseismic Imager (PHI) et l\u2019Extreme Ultraviolet Imager (EUI), ont \u00e9galement cartographi\u00e9 le champ magn\u00e9tique solaire et captur\u00e9 des vues de la couronne, l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re sup\u00e9rieure du Soleil. Ces donn\u00e9es fournissent des indices cruciaux sur des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes tels que les taches solaires, o\u00f9 des champs magn\u00e9tiques intenses inhibent la convection, provoquant des r\u00e9gions plus froides et sombres. Une mosa\u00efque compl\u00e8te de l\u2019\u00e9toile a \u00e9t\u00e9 assembl\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de 25 images, offrant une vue saisissante du disque solaire avec une r\u00e9solution de 8 000 pixels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces observations permettent de mieux comprendre les processus fondamentaux du Soleil, comme la formation du vent solaire ou l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration des particules, et pr\u00e9parent le terrain pour des \u00e9tudes plus approfondies des p\u00f4les solaires, encore largement inexplor\u00e9s. Ces r\u00e9sultats, obtenus gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une trajectoire audacieuse de Solar Orbiter, marquent une avanc\u00e9e majeure dans l\u2019\u00e9tude de notre \u00e9toile.<\/p>\n\n\n<div
