Hello everyone! Thanksgiving was on Thursday, November the 27th ! I hope for you it won\u2019t end as the first Thanksgiving in the USA because in the year 1600 first settlers frome Europe came to America for trade and ended up kidnapping Natives and selling them into slavery. That\u2019s why they refused to trade with the Europeans and sometimes attacked their boats .<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But one day a group of English men went to Holland and then to America to fish and sell the fish in Europe. But the problem was that they didn\u2019t know how to fish and they came in winter. They were 102 passengers on the Mayflower when they left Plymouth, but about 44 died because of disease, lack of shelter and lack of food.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

some times later the Native Americans came and showed them how to hunt, fish and grow food . To show them their gratitude the Pilgrims invited the Native Americans to a big dinner : this is the off the story we all know .<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

but  what you don\u2019t know is that one of among the Natives was a man called Squanto. He spoke English as he was once a slave in England. Squanto wanted to overthrow the tribe chief and when the chief learned about it he ordered his capture and asked to kill him.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But at the moment the Pilgrims were about to give Squanto to the Natives other settlers came with their ships and war broke out.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
